Christian Benevolent Outreach, Inc. (CBO) is the parent organization of Sayre Christian Village and is sponsored by the non-denominational fellowship of Christian Churches and Churches of Christ in Kentucky.  CBO, Inc. began its ministry in 1975 with a gift of land from Miss Appolonia Sayre  (Archive photo at left).  Sayre Christian Village became a reality with the opening of Baunta Building in 1983.  In 1984 Moberly Manor was added and in 1987, Friendship Towers completed the “Village” as it is today.

From the beginning, the Board of Directors and supporters of Sayre Christian Village have committed themselves to providing safe, affordable housing and care for people of retirement age.
