Simple Acts of Kindness 

At Sayre Christian Village, our volunteers change lives through a simple act of kindness.  Volunteers at Moberly Manor Nursing Home spent a warm summer evening at Applebee's Park cheering on the Lexington Legends Baseball Team.  It was a simple act of kindness that allowed Moberly residents to enjoy an evening watching America’s favorite pastime. 

Every month, area churches and groups enjoy filling balloons and serving delicious cakes, ice cream and punch.  Birthday parties are always a big hit in Friendship Towers and Baunta Apartments.  They are  made possible through our generous volunteers.  Wishing someone a happy birthday is a simple act of kindness that will bring joy to another for an entire year.
